Jim DeLeo has been a leader at Gray, Gray & Gray since he began his accounting career here more than 25 years ago, and currently serves as the firm’s Leading Partner. 

With his deep experience in all aspects of accounting, tax and financial matters, Jim delivers the “Power of More” to a wide range of closely held clients in industries such as manufacturing and distribution, software and professional services. 

Jim leads our Manufacturing & Distribution Practice, and established and co-chairs the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services Practice. In his Transaction Advisory Services role Jim works closely with many of the region’s most prominent private equity firms, search funds and mezzanine lenders, and has the demonstrated ability to access capital on behalf of his clients. 

Jim is a graduate of Bentley University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Management. He also earned a Master’s degree in Taxation from Suffolk University, and an MBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Finance from Babson College. 

Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.
