Neil DeAngelis has had significant experience in leading clients through the complex landscape of financings and business transactions, including the IPO process. His depth of knowledge and practical experience can contribute significantly to the success of a wide range of deals both large and small.
One of Neil’s strengths is his deep understanding of multiple accounting topics – from revenue recognition to SEC reporting, asset impairments, business combinations, and equity-based compensation.
Neil has served public and private clients in a wide variety of industries, including technology services, biotech/pharma, medical devices, industrial and scientific products, manufacturing and distribution.
Neil joined Gray, Gray & Gray following 37 years as an assurance (audit) partner with Ernst & Young (EY). As a member of EY’s Professional Practice group he assisted and advised audit engagement teams that were undergoing regulatory audit inspections, the primary focus of which was internal controls over financial reporting. While at EY he also served as the lead audit partner for a variety of clients, from venture/private equity-backed companies to larger publicly traded entities. After retiring from EY in 2017, he provided consulting services to EY Global and the EY Foundation Academic Resource Center.
Neil is a graduate of Bentley University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
