Sol Green devoted nearly 50 years to providing clients with solid advice and guidance on a full range of tax and accounting issues. Sol’s deep experience, coupled with his warm and friendly approach, fostered lasting relationships with clients and his peers.

Specializing in business tax and business planning matters for both domestic and international clients in a range of industries, Sol also assisted clients with tax compliance on a local, federal and international level. But Sol truly enjoyed finding ways for clients to improve efficiencies and profitability, and to help them attain their financial goals.

Sol began his accounting career with Laventhol & Horwath in 1972, then worked in private accounting practices prior to forming Green & Green, LLC with his wife, Donna, in 2001. He served as a founding manager of Green & Green, LLC until 2014 when the firm merged with Gray, Gray & Gray, LLP. Sol is a graduate of the University of Illinois where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, before earning a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley College.

In his retirement Sol enjoys spending more “non-office” time with his wife, Donna, as well as devoting more time to racquetball, saxophone, traveling and family.
